Could anyone in the future possibly mistake McClellan for anyone else?
A failed General? Fired by Lincoln? I'd be surprised if he is deserved any mention in the history books in the future except as an example of the grave misjudgement by Lincoln. That and thinking the South will loose this conflict.
What an idiot.
McClellan is secretly working for the Confederacy.
I don't know why I need to point this out, except to gloat and further undermine the northern cause but McClellan is an incompetent mess. It's just too good.
* With his lack of action after Bull Run, Europe, particulary England and France are rethinking their possible support, and may instead recognize the confederacy. :)
* He is badmouthing Lincoln, and even refused to see Lincoln when called upon?
* He overestimates our troop size? Or does he.... ;)
* And now Lincoln has 'relieved' him as General-in-Chief?...we can't wait to meet you in Richmond....this should be good.

We admit that things could have gone better for us down at Manassas, but don't start thinking you are some Wellington and that this was your Waterloo. This was just the beginning, and we needed to work out some kinks.
McDowell is out. He was a loser, no motivation, no real inspiration for this whole putting-down-a-rebellion thing. So, we've brought in this new guy, George McClellan, a real general. Our own Little Napoleon.
Where's your Little Wellington? Nowhere. Beauregard is a pansy, Johnston is a hot-head... who are you going to get? Old Granny Lee?
There will be action soon, I promise. McClellan is a man of action!
